Santa Claus is Coming to Town!

Today Mommy took me to see Santa Claus. I have been practicing my "Ho, ho, ho" and when it was my turn to sit on Santa's lap, I said "Ho, ho, ho" to him! Santa just laughed!!! Mommy and Daddy have also been talking to me about the true meaning of Christmas and when Mommy asks me "Who is Christmas about?" I say, "Baby Jesus."

I absolutely love all of our Christmas decorations and the sparkly tree lights. For some reason, Mommy and Daddy don't want me to touch the tree... That's really hard, especially when I see the kitty crawl underneath it. Why can't I crawl underneath it, too??? My favorite decorations are "Jingle Rock Santa" because Mommy, Daddy and I dance with him and also the new Hallmark Snowman that my Nana sent me, he sings when you press his hand. Thanks Nana! Also, check out what Mommy did by clicking on the link below. It's so funny!

Happy Thanksgiving... A Little Late!

For Thanksgiving, Mommy, Daddy and I went to Greenville, SC to visit my Mommy's extended family. We stayed with my cousins, Sydney, Joshua and Emma and my Uncle Andy and Aunt Lizzy. Pops and Nana came, too! We had so much fun! While I was there, I fell in love with my cousin Emma's Webble Wobble Treehouse and two Weeble Wobbles in particular whom I named "Purple" and "Green." Can you guess what colors they are??? Emma was so nice and let me bring the treehouse home with me. I absolutely love it! Thanks Emma!!! Thanksgiving was so much fun, lots of my Mommy's aunts, uncles and cousins were there with their children and I got to play with all the big kids. I ran up and down this big hill, kick balls all over the backyard and Daddy even lifted me up high so I could slam dunk the basketball. Cool, huh?

Uncle Anthony's Visit!

My Daddy's brother, Uncle Anthony, or "Antny" as I call him, came for a visit this weekend. Guess what!!! So did Pops and Nana, but they just stayed Friday night. I had so much fun! Pops and I went on a wagon ride and on Saturday, Daddy and Uncle Anthony took me hiking at Umstead Park. I had a blast exploring sticks, leaves and rocks while Mommy was at the flea market with Pops and Nana. I love it when my family comes to visit!

Mommy thought I should take a minute and tell you what I'm up to right now... I'm talking like crazy and add new words daily. Some of Mommy's and Daddy's favorites are: "Hold you" when I want to be picked up, "Curkle" for circle, "Ge-ate" for great, and "Eight." I am obsessed with the number eight! When Mommy takes me to Bojangles, I point to the letter "B" in Bojangles and shout "eight, eight!" And anytime Mommy and Daddy have me repeat numbers after them, when they get to six, I just start shouting "eight, eight!" Forget the number seven! I really enjoy singing and thanks to Mrs. Anna, Ty's Mommy, I am in love with the "Beaver Song." Some of my other favorites are "Wheels on the Bus," "This Little Light of Mine," and "If You're Happy and You Know It." I'm also in love with my choo-choos and Mommy loves to hear me say, "Chugga-Chugga, Choo-Choo!" My train track has a permanent location on the kitchen table now, but Mommy said she's ready for me to have a train table of my own! I love playing outside on the slides and kicking my balls all over the backyard! And finally, whenever we go to Wal-Mart, I absolutely must sit with the "Puppy" a.k.a "Snoopy."

Pat, Pat, Pat.... Blast Off!!!

For Halloween, Mommy and Daddy dressed me up as Leo from Little Einsteins. I had the whole getup, black shirt, orange shorts, green glasses and spiked hair! Mommy and Daddy even added red wings to my Radioflyer wagon as Rocket! If you haven't seen Little Einsteins, I was the spitting image of Leo! Check out my Leo toy in the pics and you'll see! Before trick-or-treating I went across the street to see my buddy "Av," she was a very sassy pumpkin! I had so much fun trick-or-treating with my buddies Emily, Kate, Ryan and Madeline. We went to so many houses and I got tons of lollipops or "pops" as I like to call them. Instead of saying trick-or-treat, I just said "treat" and then "achoo" for thank you. After the trick-or-treating, I was so tired that I hopped right into my carseat when Daddy opened the door to put something away... I'll tell you a secret, I wasn't tired, I was just ready for another "pop!"

Happy Birthday Ry-Ry!

My buddy Ryan turned two a couple of weeks ago and I got to go to his house and eat cake and swing at a pinata! What fun! My Daddy helped Ryan's sister Madeline swing at the pinata and it was hillarious! Mommy said she was concerned that Madeline would have whiplash the next morning because she and Daddy swung so hard! Ryan's Mommy Mrs. Lauren passed out these Elmo hats for us to wear, but I thought mine looked better on Daddy. What do you think?

Mommy's Favorite New Picture!

Last week Mommy and I met my friend Oliver and his Mommy Anna at Pullen Park. We rode the choo-choo and the carousel, played in the sandbox and swang on the swings. What fun! Mommy took the cutest picture of me riding a kitty on the "up,down" a.k.a. the carousel.
PS... If you can't tell by these pictures, little night-night has been going EVERYWHERE with me lately!

A Very Busy Weekend...

I did lots of fun things this weekend! On Saturday Daddy took me to the Durham Life and Science Museum and we met my friends Ryan and Madeline and their Mommy and Daddy, Mrs. Lauren and Mr. Matt. It was so much fun, but Daddy forgot to take the camera... oh well! Then on Sunday my cousins, Sydney, Joshua and Emma stopped by with Uncle Andy and Aunt Lizzy. Although the visit was short, we had a fun time! I can't wait to spend more time with them over Thanksgiving!

Sunday night Daddy gave me another big boy haircut. I did great! Mommy put in my favorite movie and gave me a yummy grape tootsie pop! I don't know what was more messy, my haircut or the lollipop... Mommy said I was a sticky mess and put me right in the tub!

Today, Mommy and my neighbor Mrs. Kelly took me and my buddy Avery on a stroller ride to our neighborhood park. We had so much fun! "Av," as I call her, and I slid down the slide and chased each other all over the park. We even took a romantic wagon ride after the park. What a fun day!

The State Fair!

Last weekend Mommy and Daddy took me to the NC State Fair. We had the best time! We got to see pig races and farm animals, I rode the carousel with Daddy and a choo-choo with Mommy, and Mommy and Daddy ate deep fried milk way candy bars. They said they were very yummy! But my absolute favorite part of the state fair was my pony ride! It was a blast!!! I laughed the whole time!!!

Choo-Choos and My Pops and Nana... What more can a boy want?

I absolutely love playing with my choo-choos! As a matter of fact, I absolutely love saying the word choo-choo! I like to try and line all seven of my trains up and push them down the hill... sometimes they fall off the track and I shout "Oh no!" really loudly until Mommy or Daddy helps me put them back on the track! I even have this one choo-choo that is a jet engine, I push a button and it goes around the track all on it's own. Cool, huh?

Last Thursday Daddy had a business meeting in Wilmington so we went to stay with Pops and Nana Wednesday night. Nana took me and Mommy to a really cool park Thursday morning. There were 5 huge slides that I got to slide down, over and over and over and over! Then that afternoon Pops took me, Mommy and Daddy back to "Puddle Island." It was so much fun, but a little bit cooler than last time. We saw another huge crab, but this time Mommy wasn't scared! I had the best time splashing in the puddles and begging my Popsy to join me! Thanks Nana and Pops for a great time!!!

My Trip to Nana's and Pop's

Hi everyone! Mommy and I went to Wilmington to visit Nana and Pops last Thursday. We had so much fun! Nana took me to ride the carousel at the mall and I rode on a cheetah that went up and down. When it was over, I wanted to go on it again and again! Then Pops took Mommy and me out on his boat. In the middle of the sound there was this sandbar that had tons of puddles for me to run through and jump in. We even saw this huge crab that totally scared Mommy!!! Thanks for the fun times Nana and Pops! I love you THIS much!!!

A Day at the Park!

Mommy and I met some of my buddies at Pullen Park yesterday. We rode the choo-choo train and the carousel, played on the playground, fed the ducks and had a picnic lunch. It was so much fun! And then it happened... I fell and scratched up my face above and below my left eye, but Mommy treated it and I began to fill much better after she gave me chocolate milk and oreos! It was a real "ummer" as I like to say... We had been having the best time and I even rode on a horse that went up and down all by myself on the carousel.

Mommy went to a Consignment Sale and all she brought me back was this silly hat...

So honestly, what do y'all think of my new winter hat? I can't decide... Mommy absolutely loves it, she thinks it's, "So Cute!" Thanks Mrs. Courtney for helping her pick it out... She thinks you're the best Consignment Shopping Pal around! Unfortunately for Daddy, Mommy found lots of other things at the consignment sale... She told Daddy that she saved him money by shopping at the consignment sale, but I don't know if he believes her!!!

Hodge Podge...

Hi everyone! I've been having lots of fun lately... Monday I got to play with my friend Jackson while Mommy went to the dentist. He has a HUGE Thomas the Train table that we got to play with and we also had fun wrestling around... Thanks to our Daddies for teaching us how to wrestle! On Tuesday Mommy started a new Bible study so I got to go, too! A lot of my buddies from my class last year are with me again this year so it was fun to play with them again! Yesterday Mommy took me to a big park and my friend Avery and her Mommy came along, too! We had fun swinging in the swings and sliding down the slides. I love playing outside. My Grandma also sent me this neat tractor that I can ride around the house. It's battery operated, so I don't even have to push it. Cool, huh??? Thanks Grandma! I've also been really into coloring with markers, thank goodness for the washable ones because I can make quite a mess!!! Do you know what else makes a mess??? Mashed potatoes...Mommy made some for dinner and they were yummy!!!

My newest word is "ummer" for bummer. I've also started saying Mommy-ommy-ommy-ommy-ommy, Daddy-addy-addy-addy-addy, Nana-ana-ana-ana-ana and Pa-pa-pa-pa-pa (for Pops). Mommy says back to me Nate-watey-watey-watey-watey. It's pretty funny!!! Also this week when some of my Mommy's girlfriends were over, I decided to show off!!! I started belly-flopping on the carpet over and over again and eventually moved on to the hardwoods. I was laughing so hard and everyone thought I was so funny. Mommy got out the video camera to record, but of course the battery was dead... Oh, well...
